The start of the year is usually a good chance to start fresh and get new stuff—though we hate to admit it, acquiring new gadgets is usually one of the new things that we’d like to include in our bucket lists.
Since deciding on which of the new items in the market is the perfect fit for you—we already saved you the time and effort, and put up a list of the hottest gadgets coming out this 2018.
1) Oculus GO
Stepping into the field of virtual reality is made easier with the upcoming release of Oculus GO, the first VR device that doesn’t require wires, a PC, and a smartphone. It is designed with breathable fabrics, which is comfortable and fully adjustable and can even be worn with your glasses on.
2) Galaxy S9
Following the release of Galaxy S8, featuring a curved OLED Infinity display, Samsung announces Galaxy S9—the model next-in-line with its S-series. It is set to be released in late February or early March and is expected to step-up it’s A-game after the success of its predecessor.
3) Apple HomePod Smart Speaker
The first Siri-powered smart speaker promises to deliver premium quality and multi-room audio that is set to be released in early January, bearing quite the high price of $349. Combining Apple-engineered audio technology and advanced software to deliver the highest-fidelity sound throughout the room, HomePod is aiming to revolutionize and completely reimagine your sound system at home.
4) Google Home Mini
A more affordable smart speaker at top-notch quality. This is what Google Home mini is offering for its consumers.
The Mini utilizes the Google search engine, combined with other information about you to provide useful answers and actions to voice commands. It was initially released on late October 2017 and is scheduled to make an appearance at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 10-12.

Boasting of premium picture quality, performance, and improved versatility—this new LG monitor is expected to gather attention on the upcoming CES 2018 in Las Vegas.
LG’s new 32-inch UHD 4K monitor is the first to offer LG’s advanced Nano IPS technology. This Nano IPS technology involves the application of nanometer-sized particles to the screen’s LED, which absorb excess light wavelengths that will greatly enhance the intensity and purity of on-screen colors for a more accurate and life-like viewing experience.
6) Dell XPS 13
Featuring three USB-C ports, a micro SD card slot, an Infinity Edge display, and is available in Alpine White and Rose Gold—this new laptop is going to be Dell’s biggest reveal for CES 2018.
7) Google Pixel 2
This new Google phone, designed and developed by Google, is the successor of the Pixel and Pixel XL released in 2016. It features a 5-inch 1080p display, Android 8.0 Oreo, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage.
Pixel 2 is set to be formally introduced at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show on January 10 to 12, 2018.
8 ) Sony Xperia XZ1 Premium
Sony fans should watch out for this upcoming release of Sony Xperia XZ1 on February 26 to March 1, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 trade show.
The design is rumored to be a standard Sony fare that has a boxy shape with narrower bezels.
9) Apple Watch Series 3
Already dominating the market for smartwatches, Apple introduces its new member of the collection—Apple Watch Series 3. It is designed to give wearers the ability to take calls, talk to Siri, receive notifications and stream music without an iPhone, using LTE.
It was initially released on late September 2017 but is still expected to be in-demand until early 2018.
10) Fitbit Ionic
The first true smartwatch from Fitbit Inc. and is said to have the ability to rival the Apple Watch Series, Fitbit Ionic features advance health and fitness capabilities. It is capable of running third party applications, and is boasting of its five-day battery life.
Fitbit Ionic is previously launched in the US in early October and is due to hit the international market on February 2018.
