Nokia 3310 finally Released in the Philippines

After the announcement last February at the Mobile World Congress, HMD Global officially launched the new version of the Nokia 3310 handset (READ: Nokia 3310, The Rebirth of an Icon).

The new Nokia 3310 was designed just like the old Nokia 3310, but with some advanced features and it uses Nokia’s own operating system.

According to Shannon Mead, the HMD Global country manager for the Philippines, the phone can act as an emergency survival kit if needed. The phone’s battery can last up to a month of standby and 22 hours of talk time.

The phone will be available in the Philippines at the end of the month with the selling price of P2,490.

Aside from the Nokia 3310, HMD, the company who already holds the rights to market the Nokia smartphones, also launched its newest android phones; Nokia 6 forP11,990, Nokia 5 for P9,990 and Nokia 3 for P6,990.

Nokia 3310 debuted in 2000 and sold millions of units, worldwide. However, the selling stopped in 2005.
